Hannah Dyke

Hi my name is Hannah and i am 26 years old.  I have always loved horses ever since i can remember having been placed on our family Shetland, Sammy, when is was only a few months old! As i got older my passion grew and particularly for jumping joining the local riding club and representing the school in inter-schools showjumping team.  After a break from horses for a number of years, for my 18th birthday i was given the beautiful Charlie, a gorgeous Dun Connemara x Welsh gelding.  I had a lot of fun with Charlie, showing in working hunter, M&M classes and turning my hand to a bit of dressage.  It is now really Dressage that is my passion and i am now looking for my prefect dressage horse!

Whilst on my hunt for my next perfect horse, i have come across so many horse websites, however none which seem to combine my three passions – Horses (obviously), fashion and the countryside – this had me thinking that whilst my day job in law is interesting, all i really want is to look at and discuss horses and this is the beginning of my journey and how my blog has been born.

I am Hannah's sister, 24 years old, fashion designer. I studied fashion design in London and enjoyed the city life but longed to come back to the countryside, so after uni I moved back to the Blackdown Hills and founded my clothing brand Henry Hunt which is thriving in its fourth year of business. I wanted to combine my passion for high end fashion and the countryside by creating a line of chic country inspired high fashion garments. 

I too have grown up around horses and followed in Hannah's footsteps following her around on our shetland pony as she jumped her first horse. Growing up I looked after all of our family horses, moving to the city meant I did not get my first horse until after uni when I fell completely in love with the first one I went to look at, Harvey, I have had him for about 5 years now and done in-hand showing, dressage and fun rides on him so far.
